Review on microSHIFT MTB Triple 3x9 Speed Shift Levers TS70-9: Superior Shimano-Compatible Shifters for Mountain Bikes by Kyle Salinas

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Great product fits shifters

I was surprised at how well they work. I usually use Shimano or SRAM derailleurs on my bikes, but due to stock availability issues I decided to test them on a bike that was attached to a Shimano RD-M591 Deore rear derailleur. I didn't need a derailleur for this build, but this product is so cheap I didn't bother to buy both. Well, this build has become my cargo bike and everyday commuter spare bike, so I've got plenty of utility and miles. it's only a few months away PROS: - Inexpensive - Small. Takes up much less space on the handlebars than Shimano or SRAM Compact shifters. The knob/lever combo is mostly placed behind the derailleur housing so minimal tampering with other control points (it's an e-bike) is easy. Lever/switch up, button/switch down are close together for ease of use, but not close enough to cause selection issues. Reliability. The functionality has always been perfect. It's easy to shift from gear to gear individually. Continuous. Mainly metal construction - Display: clearly visible. Some switches need to be cocked at an angle to match other controls. Not this one. - Easy installation. The cable is easy to replace. I needed to replace the tandem cable for my long tail cargo application. CONS: If there is a scam, I haven't found it yet.
