Very functional good price

Although they have more resistance than my various xt shifters they worked great. I used them on a bike with old Deore derailleurs that needed replacing. It's likely that moving with them over time will only make them smoother, as repeated movements will buff the inner surfaces somewhat. They're smooth, but the spring tension is just higher, so it takes a little more force to tap them. I consider them to be the lower priced equivalent of the Deore, which is what I'm looking for in the…

Great value for money

Tldr: If you're here because you need it, don't think twice, they work as expected Bought when you put a 3x9 drivetrain drop bar tandem in converted to a flat bar configuration. I had to change the cables to longer ones. Good: - build quality - prices - indices meet expectations. Not perfect: - Replacing new cables requires some effort - Front derailleur did not stay on ring 2 when downshifting. I removed the shift indicator and after reinstalling it worked. Findings: 9-speed road and mountain…

Triple derailleur internal broke checking front derailleur: 2 to 3

Tried to install it on a Gravity mountain bike in the early 2010's: 27 speed. Pros: I love the look and feel. I like the position and operation of the levers. It looks like it's going to be a simple cable replacement, which I think is huge. The construction makes a solid impression. The price is half of the Deore set. Cons: I wish every gang would register a number. Found the triple derailleur to fail when shifting the front derailleur from 2nd to 3rd position: *SNAP* Some plastic inside broke…

Great product fits shifters

I was surprised at how well they work. I usually use Shimano or SRAM derailleurs on my bikes, but due to stock availability issues I decided to test them on a bike that was attached to a Shimano RD-M591 Deore rear derailleur. I didn't need a derailleur for this build, but this product is so cheap I didn't bother to buy both. Well, this build has become my cargo bike and everyday commuter spare bike, so I've got plenty of utility and miles. it's only a few months away PROS: - Inexpensive…

Almost as good as Shimano.

_____*Pros: - Works great on my mountain bike replacing OEM Shimano shifters. _____*Neutral: - Both upshifting and downshifting require more effort than comparable Shimano derailleurs. - I wish there were more shift position markings. _____ * Cons: - None. I wanted a set of Shimano 3x9 derailleurs but couldn't find real or cheap ones due to the shortage of bikes caused by the COVID pandemic. I chose these Microshift switches and I'm glad I did - they're easy to install, easy to index, and shift

Pros
  • Sport
Cons
  • Weak

After 5000 miles my Shimano Alivio 9 speed front derailleur was worn out. The first symptoms of the problem were the Shimano derailleur skipping a few gears when upshifting - normally the system would index one gear at a time when upshifting, but suddenly started shifting 4-6 gears at a time. Disassembly confirmed the problem - the pawl and gears were literally worn out. Now another problem - due to a lack of spare parts, a replacement Shimano derailleur was nowhere to be found. I drive almost…
