Review on microSHIFT MTB Triple 3x9 Speed Shift Levers TS70-9: Superior Shimano-Compatible Shifters for Mountain Bikes by Edward Henderson

Tried to install it on a Gravity mountain bike in the early 2010's: 27 speed. Pros: I love the look and feel. I like the position and operation of the levers. It looks like it's going to be a simple cable replacement, which I think is huge. The construction makes a solid impression. The price is half of the Deore set. Cons: I wish every gang would register a number. Found the triple derailleur to fail when shifting the front derailleur from 2nd to 3rd position: *SNAP* Some plastic inside broke and rattled, didn't disassemble to find out. Instead I had to install Deore switches, which was very disappointing to say the least. 3 stars instead of 1 because of the positive aspects and maybe my Sora derailleur was too stiff or the pulley system on the frame is not compatible. .**Note** No problem with rear derailleur switch. I liked it very much.
