The scope itself seems solid and well-made. I like a lot of the little touches that make it clearly superior to our previous scope, such as large, chunky thumb screws for collumation adjustment.One minor point of concern: I'm not a fan of the tool tray on the tripod. It's rather difficult to install, and the tripod won't fold up with it present. Which means that you have to either leave it in place and carry the tripod awkwardly, or fumble around with three wing screws that fit into tiny holes from the bottom.The accessories that come with the kit are interesting and helpful.
