None of the rocker cover gaskets came close to matching the R70 rocker covers in our 2009 Odyssey J35A7 engine. The spark plug seals also broke on installation with minimal effort - one even broke when I pushed it in with my fingers. After two trips to the Honda dealership to get the correct valve covers and spark plug gaskets, my wallet and I regret buying this useless disposable kit. Go to Honda OEM. A few notes: - The 607R Fel-Pro kit doesn't fit either. Spend the money and get Genuine Honda Parts.- Jumping into a rocker cover gasket/spark plug gasket/valve timing project is a bold move for a DIY enthusiast. I probably put fifteen hours into this (including three trips to the Honda and two to the Auto Zone). This is significantly more difficult than valve sealing and adjustment work on a four-cylinder engine. YouTube videos are really helpful but never fully applicable. Much luck! - The spark plug seals could not be fully inserted. I used a 32mm socket to hammer it in and one of the Honda seals broke anyway. I have my finger too. A YouTube video recommends a 29mm socket, but 29mm doesn't quite match the hard part of the seal (YMMV). The back cover is very difficult to remove and install. There is a lot on the way and the dishes are stubborn. I've used Permatex High Tack to hold the gasket to the lid as it slides in and it seemed to work well. Don't move the throttle if you're trying to get all the dirt off the throttle body. It's electronically controlled, and your van will give you a high idle code after getting the nine thousand pieces right. I probably learned four hundred more things including this Fel-Pro kit for the 2009 Odyssey EX. L - but perhaps most importantly, if I ever need it again or am tempted to do it, it might be time for a new car.
