Leaking Spark Plug Tubes

I installed this valve cap kit about a year ago and today I replaced the spark plugs and found 5 of them. 6 hoses leaked. The factory seals have never leaked after 120,000 miles and have lost a lot of oil in just a year. It was easy work, but doing it twice is no good. I would not recommend using this brand. I just installed a Mahle pipe seal kit to fix leaks and they seem to be a lot stronger.

While you're at it, it might be a good idea to replace the fan seals as well.

A blue front and black back. It came with a spark plug well gasket which was my reason for replacing this kit. It also came with a metal-coated rubber washer that came with bolts that hold the valve covers in place. There is a trick to putting them in screws, do a search and you will find a video. The quality of these shims appeared to be a little inferior to the OEM factory shims that come with the car. In addition, everything went great. This gasket set does not fit the 2009 Honda Odyssey EX-L.

None of the rocker cover gaskets came close to matching the R70 rocker covers in our 2009 Odyssey J35A7 engine. The spark plug seals also broke on installation with minimal effort - one even broke when I pushed it in with my fingers. After two trips to the Honda dealership to get the correct valve covers and spark plug gaskets, my wallet and I regret buying this useless disposable kit. Go to Honda OEM. A few notes: - The 607R Fel-Pro kit doesn't fit either. Spend the money and get Genuine Honda

Perfect fit for Honda J35A7 engine

I have a 2006 Honda Odyssey EX-L with a J35A7 engine. Before installing, I inspected these gaskets and seals. and they seem to be of good quality. No visible shape problems, bumps or burrs. Fits perfectly. Installed with no problems. All components of the kit are used, including pin bushings. It's only been a few weeks since installation but no leaks so far.
