I bought a pair of these fans to use in a PCI bracket for GPU cooling (MSI RX580 OC). In pursuit of a quiet computer, the stock GPU fans were extremely loud. A pair of fans was connected to the 4-pin GPU fan header with 2 PWM headers. Both fans are GPU controlled. At top speed it revs around 1200 rpm but is fairly quiet. At maximum GPU load with Furmark, the GPU temperature barely reaches 80°C. The standard cooler was louder and the temperature was actually several degrees higher! At this setting, the Scythe fans will not stop, like the original GPU fans did. However, the fans are not audible at this speed. I love that the Scythe includes corner dampers and black fan screws. Bear Noise and Pitch are pretty good. I like it better than the Noctua Redux fan presentation.
