Nice knife for only $12. If you're good at using sharpening stones on straight blades, this knife will disappoint you (my straight edge blades perform much better). However, for the vast majority of the population, it serves as a very handy knife for bread and tomatoes. It gets a 4 because it's well made, I mean I don't think it's as good as knives that cost $60 to $150. but these knives cost $60-150! The customer service is REALLY exceptional - outstanding considering it is such a great value product. They really are meant for happy customers. They emailed me when my order shipped and asked me to give them my opinion. When I told them I wasn't happy with it, they immediately offered a replacement or refund. For that reason I will find another use for them and give them a fair review.
