I bought this knife for my wife over a year ago because she complained that we don't have a good knife for slicing bread. just great. A year later I will not use other knives to cut bread at home. This is a great knife and very sharp. My wife was right (as always).

I am very satisfied with this knife. Bought for bread in a bread machine. Very satisfied. It cuts through easily and I don't have to press down on the bread too hard which could crush your new bread! The sellers even checked via email if I was happy with it. You don't get such great customer service these days and I really appreciate that. 5 stars and thumbs up for this knife. I highly recommend.

This bread knife looks nice and elegant and can be decent enough to cut soft bread and tomatoes. However, it is useless as a real bread knife. It arrived sharp but the design does not cut through real bread crust making trying to cut such crusty bread with this knife extremely dangerous as it will just slip off without leaving a mark on the crust. The knife cuts beautifully and looks sexy. The quality of the stainless steel leaves a lot to be desired as in less than two months it has already started to show small rust spots on one side of the blade. Nice knife for only $12. If you're good at using sharpening stones on straight blades, this knife will disappoint you (my straight edge blades perform much better). However, for the vast majority of the population, it serves as a very handy knife for bread and tomatoes. It gets a 4 because it's well made, I mean I don't think it's as good as knives that cost $60 to $150. but these knives cost $60-150!
