These grapefruit spoons look good and feel sturdy. However, the serrated edge is flared slightly upwards, making it rough on the lips when in use. I have had many grapefruit spoons over the years and have never had this problem. Also, the spoon is rather poorly balanced (it has a very thin "neck") so it doesn't feel solid in your hand.
