The bag is not big, but thanks to its dimensions it can hold a lot of things. I made a baby blanket (36 x 36) out of thick yarn and it all fit. I wore it from a semi-finished large chunk of Bernat Baby Blanket Dappled yarn until it was fully finished and fit in the bag. There are 5 pockets outside and 5 pockets inside to keep everything organized. Outside pockets don't close, but are deep to keep things inside. On the front there is a large pocket with a little width, and on the back there are two of the same. Each end had a pocket with no gusset so they lay flat on the pocket. They start about 1/4 of the way from the top of the bag, so their depth is almost equal to the height of the bag. The inner pockets have two gusseted pockets, one fits your phone and the other is smaller next to it. There is also one at each end with no creases and a large zipped pocket on the front. It is well made and looks like it will last a long time. I'm incredibly picky and this bag exceeded my expectations.
