Review on 🔍 WIX Filters - 33818 Heavy Duty Fuel Cartridge (Special T, 1-Pack) by Brian Cox

WIX's filtering capabilities are generally superior to those of OEMs and are often contracted out to manufacturers and then rebranded. These filters are well worth the extra few dollars. For some reason this particular filter tends to have cross threads. Had to return one early due to a rounded adjusting nut due to cross thread issues. Always try to start the filter properly by turning the filter counter-clockwise until the filter cover is one seam down, which is usually an indication of proper thread orientation, before beginning installation. More than once, after a full counter-clockwise rotation and seemingly correct alignment, installation quickly becomes difficult and uneven coverage becomes apparent. Unfortunately switched to another brand to avoid disappointment and returns. Would actually prefer this excellent product for my 300,000 mile car.
