Can't talk to the tweeters as I already had a decent factory component system and just needed to upgrade my 6.5" speakers to get clearer mids and highs and reduce distortion at high volumes remove. and frequencies, for the job these speakers did a great job. Please note that these speakers are not a substitute for subwoofers. If you want a system that "hits," you need at least a decent sealed subwoofer that covers the entire base and lets your internal speakers cover the mids and highs. I only have an aftermarket head unit that powers these speakers as they really don't need an amplifier unless your main unit can source enough power
