I have used several brands of filters but in most cases I prefer the banjo. It's well made from very durable plastic and the screen fits in more snugly than other brands I've tried. In addition, the cover is sealed with an O-ring that fits into a groove rather than a flat washer sandwiched between two sealing surfaces. The o-ring seals securely without having to be overtightened, making removing the cover and cleaning the screen much easier in the future. The only place I prefer a flat washer between the cap and body is when your water contains very fine sand. This can get past the o-ring and cause a slow drip where you can tighten the flat washer to keep it from dripping (but you may need a tool to remove the cap later). The sticker "Made in USA" was on the side.
