Bicycle: 56 cm Mercier Galaxy AL. 700 x 28mm Michelin Dynamic Sport tires These fenders are not designed directly for 28mm tires. It takes at least an hour to properly adjust the position of the legs to avoid chafing. The plastic clip that attaches the rear fender to the frame largely prevents the rear wheel from moving. Luckily this is a distance so I had to find some bolts to hold the fender in place (hook the pins under the fender and around my caliper) and keep it from rattling on bumps. Speaking of rim brakes, to mount the front fender to the rear of the fork requires an extra bolt (probably 10-15mm M6) to thread into the brake nut threads that occupy the fork hole. Another of my on-the-fly fixes was to use one of the included 40mm bolts and aluminum foil cylindrical washer to tighten the brake nut. It will be temporary until I get the M6 screw. Last but not least, the front chainstays need to be cut with bolt cutters as they completely collide with my toe clip pedals when parallel to the ground, making corners potentially dangerous, especially at intersections. I'll probably have to remove the clamps and just use the straps to keep my legs from moving too far forward.
