This small incubator does a good job of keeping juvenile fish alive. It does have a few downsides though: 1) The separating shell doesn't stay in place - I've had a mother guppy manage to swim against it so hard that she ended up underneath while her pups swam over it, um to avoid it. .2) The slots in the lid/lid do not provide enough space for all of the food flakes to fall in, so it needs to be cleaned frequently. creates a gap where several immature guppies died because they didn't figure out how to escape.
