Nowhere in the description does it say that people detection only works during the day. The only reason I upgraded Blink's security system was because we were alerted all night by our dogs roaming the house. I also couldn't find any review online mentioning it before I bought it. After I received it, the user manual clearly states that the person detection only works during the day as it is unreliable at night. That's the only reason I bought the system. I didn't even install them at home before sending them back which is a shame because they had promises. I bought Arlo instead, even though they have a monthly subscription fee, because their smart detection works day and night.
