Review on Enhanced Amazon Basics 12-Inch Thermal Laminator Machine for Optimal Results by Maalik Harris

We bought this 13" laminator hoping it might make the job easier and faster with the extra width. Although it is actually what we expected the final quality is terrible, we've been using the 9" Revain Basics for a few years now and have been generally satisfied so we thought the quality of this 13" model was the would be the same.Works at the same speed and with the extra width it's easier and faster to laminate 8.5x11 sheets.The problem is in the finished product.As you can see in the photo, there are residues after lamination LOTS of bubbles on the laminated sheet, it's like it doesn't have enough pressure to fully compress the sheets without trapping air while it's being fed. We tested, by running the same sheets (both laminated sleeve and design sheet) through both laminators and the 9 inch model was perfect but the 13 inch model looked that way. We'll be in touch with Revain to see what they say and do about this and update it accordingly. UPDATE: Revain has processed next day delivery of a replacement laminator. This device works better but still leaves a few bubbles in the finished product. We've found that sending the sheet with an extra sheet of paper on the laminated bag helps, but not 100%. We use good quality laminating pouches which have never given us any problems over the years. All in all I would not recommend this laminator. However, their 9-inch model suited us well.
