Review on 🔬 Revolutionary Sommerfeld Cabinetmaking: Chip-Free Roundover with Exclusive Patent by Ryan Koser

This is a fantastic bit set. This was my first set of Sommerfeld bits and I have already ordered more. Raised panel doors are perfect, and the height-adjustable pieces work exactly as they should. I bought a tuning tool along with a kit that worked great. As for quality: cut quality was good on all bits (no flush cutter was used), the slab cutter is huge but gave a great cut even with a small cutter motor (2 1/4 hp), excellent use of the socket collet and now I use them for all my bits and all the cutout patterns go together very well aesthetically. The only downside: no instructions. I bought a tuning tool with this kit and watched online videos but I didn't have to. It should have clear instructions on how to set it up properly without tools. The Easy Set Jig is great by the way, but you can achieve the same results with a ruler and good instructions. Also, since there are no instructions, the recommended bitrates should be printed on the bottom of the cover. Don't be put off by my only complaint, you will love this bit set if you buy it. The online videos really do a good job of demonstrating the possibilities of the beats and can give you some great tips to use with them.
