Review on Extech FL700 Fluoride Meter by Todd Phillips

This gauge works as promised. The only thing I would have liked from this meter was a backlit display. The biggest problem for me was getting a fluorine solution to calibrate the meter. I bought it from another website and it took 3 weeks to receive it after I placed my order. Therefore, check the lead time before purchasing any fluoride solution from a supplier. I see it's available on Amazon but I would still check with the seller for shipping times. The counter comes with a container of 25-50 reagent tablets, so you don't need to buy extra ones. I found information for the user. in the meter calibration box is a bit confusing. I went to the ExTech website and downloaded the updated manual and it is much clearer and easier to understand. The first meter I received from Revain was used and unusable. There was dried dirt on the electrode. So I had to send it back and they sent me another one. I think this one may have been used/opened as well, but it was in much better condition.
