Expensive, short lived but the ONLY ONE THAT DID NOT BURN MY CLEARCOAT

I've got the worst job: wrapping a really old car that broke down after 6 months but we've been walking it for 8 + years on white 2011 Toyota Sienna (Yes, yes, I know. Unless you can afford $3,000 every two or three years, DO NOT buy car wrap. Now I know.) It's so bad, no car wrapper around it would touch any price unless I would buy another wrap from him (probably for profit reasons and also because it would cover mistakes). So I ended up in some sort of product test to get rid of that cracked, crumbling film. I have purchased a Ribbed Whizzy Wheel (this product is ASIN B00FJF0O2K), a Solid Whizzy Wheel (ASIN B00VFACQRE) and a Ribbed Whizzy Wheel. identical (ASIN B07R7NRZ8Z). I also purchased a variable speed electric drill for this express purpose, which ran within the recommended range for these detachable wheels. I studied all the received information and links to the video, followed all the instructions and techniques. In general I can build or maintain things. Here's what happened. 1) Whizzy Wheel with fins (this product): was the softest and generated the least heat. As a result, this wheel will probably be consumed 2 or 3 times faster. It did eventually take moderate pressure to cut through the old, cured, cracked film, but when it did it did NOT damage or burn the paintwork. Lots of wheels chewed but the results were as good as could be expected. 2) Solid Whistle Wheel: It cut through the shit a lot quicker, but I had to work really hard to get it moving across the surface quickly. Ultimately it was a failure to linger nowhere and the minimal amount of pressure required to get the job done also BURNED MY PAINT (presumably varnish). RIGHT IN THE CENTER OF MY HOOD. Even touching the paintwork with the wheel caused damage. As a result, I will eventually need to repaint this panel. The only good thing I can say is that the plastic razor scraper is handy. Too bad I have to send it back. The only thing that worked without damaging my car was the ribbed Whizzy Wheel. But it has become a much more expensive project. WWWF is twice the price of all others and takes half the time. But what choice do I have? But for this minivan I can easily gnaw 4-6 of those wheels.
