This solved my problem with the ice maker. I had to add some washers to loosen the part from the engine a bit so it could sit on the engine strut/bolt threads. Also note that this is a left-hand thread, meaning it goes counter-clockwise. No lock nut required, rotation of the drive motor keeps the auger drive close to the motor.
