Review on 🔌 CURT 56236 Multi-Function Splice-in Tail Light Converter with 4-Pin Wiring Harness by Ryan Olsen

Figuring out the right connections was a challenge. In case it's helpful to others, here's what I found out from speaking to Curt product support: On the driver's side, the yellow Curt input is connected to the black to red stripe in the VW rear connector wiring. Brown and red connect to the white ground wire, all three parts of the curt input. The Black Curt input connected to the CURT 55151 goes to the battery. On the passenger side, the green curt input connects to the black-purple in the VW rear connector wiring. Also note that the green wire doesn't have much extra length, so be careful when routing it.
