The headset's tensioning mechanism in the middle is rubber instead of a metal spring. I think it's a great idea and the full bearing kit included is definitely good value, but I can't risk my fork falling out if/when that rubber washer fails. In addition, the screw in the tube expands more at the end. at the top and not evenly throughout the tube, reducing the headset's holding capacity. This is also a risky project. Conclusion: I cannot endorse this product and feel it should be withdrawn. This is dangerous and can cause serious injury.
