I found it interesting that I could buy such a high quality lock for about the same price as a cheap plastic version. Crafted from solid metal, this is definitely worth buying! Despite the easy installation, the folks at Latch.it say "you can do it" and we're here for you. Fast delivery. Great company to buy. We are restoring an old Scamp trailer and I wanted the lock to be more durable and modern than the original. This is not the purpose for which this lock is intended. However, there is a kit with this type of latch, the problem is that it is all plastic and sells for over $100. I wanted better. If you are good with tools this is doable, you need to make a spacer, I used a plastic cutting board as the material and went for it. The results work very well.
