This is one of the best things for trimming or limb trimming. I use these roughly 9 inch long blades to chop down medium sized trees. I even use them to cut stumps out of the ground. When cutting stumps out of the ground, dirt wears down the blade more than usual. But I still use a set of 5 blades I bought about 7 years ago to cut trees but they are already worn out and old so I ordered a new set. With a cordless Sawzall and a ladder, I feel a lot more confident using them instead of a chainsaw when I'm up in a tree. IMHO, it's much safer than a chainsaw. If you have a Sawzall then a set of these blades is a must.
