Amazing tool! The price is right and it cuts like butter! I was looking for a tool to cut the ring on my bird's foot and this helped. You must be very careful and may need someone else to hold the bird instead of you, or you may need to cover the bird's face and gently hold its body. I was able to put this tool right in and cut it very easily. The tip of the tool was small enough to fit snugly between the ring and the bird's foot. The tip of the tool was smooth and not jagged at all. Very safe for birds. You need to cut off the two ends of the ring to make it fall completely.
