Mismatched dimensions, fragile packaging and easily damaged laminate surface are the main features of this product. Bought to replace a platter on a side table, it is listed as 24". x24" but it actually looks more like 23 1/2" x 23 1/2" which is the main difference when using this item for is a project.In my case it was smaller but I will do it,Return shipping is too hassle.The surface lamination is cheap,thin and poorly bonded to the base material so it peels and peels off very easily.The packaging has been used by someone who didn't care how the product arrived. Barely enough bubble wrap and a layer of cardboard to protect the item. The bubble wrap actually got under the lamination and when removed caused a chip on top of the black laminate (this is why a wood finish is used It would be better to take it to a hardware store, buy a piece of fiberboard and then paint it yourself. Final opinion - don't waste your money.
