I would have given all 5 stars but there was no external remote control in my box. I was given flashlights, instructions and a battery for the remote control, but no remote control. Luckily, it has a built-in white remote control (next to the plug). It had most of the same features as the missing external remote (except for timer and brightness settings). It didn't really matter to me: because I like the brightness the way it is, and because I was planning on using an external timer instead (like the one currently available at Revain called the "BN-LINK 7 Day Heavy Duty Digital Programmable Timer" is sold) . , FD60 U6" for $13). Having an external timer gives you more control over when the light turns on or off. Aside from the lack of a remote control, I really like these lights. They were very easy to install and use A big plus was that the light pattern I had set on the built in remote came back when I turned it off and on again!With this single string of lights I was able to light up the eaves and crown molding of my entire house, and I even had that enough light left to illuminate my bushes and plants!Light patterns are phenomenal and made my home the most sophisticated on our block (please watch the video)!I used a wave setting that changed colors and from afar looked as would they burn! Almost all my neighbors commented on how good looking they were and were amazed that it's just a strand. I recommend this arti only recommend! I just hope you get the remote control with yours! ;-)
