Stop being cheap and get this one and be done.
My 04 Dodge Ram Diesel sits for weeks and months without being driven. Lesser solar chargers weren't keeping the batteries topped off. This one does. I just got back from checking after 90 days parked and the batteries were at 12.6 volts. With the internal battery charge controller I don't have to worry about overcharging either. I just lay it on my dash and plug it into my power port (cigarette lighter) on the dash that's always powered on.Before this I tried a 1/2 watt, a two watt and a 5 watt solar charger that didn't do the job.
- Took too to charge the batteries for my application.
- The 20W power is not enough for larger batteries
