Review on Thinvik Computer Garmin Adjustable Touring by Billy Berry

Revainrating 3 out of 5

Not bad, but some improvements can be used

The dual functionality of this Garmin computer mount is a real plus. It's nice to be able to put the computer right in front without taking up space on the steering wheel and then being able to mount the headlight right under the computer, which helps a lot. Now the product is not perfect. First, the computer's tilt tab needs to be screwed down properly, otherwise it will start wobbling forward while driving. Especially if there are bumpy sections on your route. If the manufacturer had simply notched the hinge, the angle could still be adjusted, but it would lock into place without over-tightening (and possibly removing) the Allen screw. Second, the installation of the Niterider headlight mount is not entirely accurate, so you will need to put some effort to install it correctly. Otherwise it worked pretty well (after tightening the loop).

Pros
  • SUPERIOR MATERIAL - CNC die-cast aluminum alloy, lightweight and strong. The surface of the product is smoother than non-CNC injection molding. Lightweight and perfect replacement for your Garmin mount.
Cons
  • old
