Big and ugly best GPS accessories

This product is quite ugly. That doesn't make a road bike really nice. Worst of all, the adjustable arm gives out on bumps and the computer moves and you have to constantly fix it. I would probably put up with it if it wasn't so ugly. The whole point of installing a stem is making your bike look sleek. I'll be happy to check the rating when I get a response from the seller.

Pros
  • GOLS certified
Cons
  • I vaguely remember

Looks great, fits perfectly, great buy!

I ordered this and the other without any accessories. To be honest, they looked the same, so I installed these right away. Looks great, my Garmin 1030 has enough room to press the buttons (very important). I adjusted the angle and it's easy to change. Looks like a great investment so far, glad I made the purchase.

Pros
  • Confident
Cons
  • Not as thick as other picks

Great bike mount! - GPS accessories

This bike carrier is very easy to assemble and offers many options. Love the different brackets etc. It even comes with the tools you need to install and adjust. Best of all for long-distance riders, the mount leaves room for a USB cable plugged into your Edge device when mounted in the mount. This allows you to connect the battery to extend its life. You know, for that 200+ mile bike ride!

Pros
  • An absolute legend
Cons
  • Ugly packaging

Unique solution: GPS, viewfinder and accessories

I did not purchase this device for general use. My bike is equipped with a luggage rack. I always carry a bag. When I was interested in the Garmin Varia RTL510 bike radar/light, I couldn't mount it in the usual way (on the seat tube). Discover GoPro's adjustable combo mount for the Thinvik bike computer. Thanks to the adjustable angle I was able to attach it to my rear mount and now I can use the Varia with my Edge 830 and get audible and visual warnings of vehicles approaching from behind…

Pros
  • Easy to read control panel
Cons
  • Unreliable

Well made and durable. Holds my Garmin Edge 130 Plus very well.

This unit works fairly well with my Garmin Edge 130 Plus. I have two suggestions for improving this device. First, offer several racks of different lengths. I would have liked a stand that was half the size of the one that came with it. Second, thread through all the holes where the Garmin mount attaches. Only two of the four holes are threaded and if I removed the camera mount underneath the unit the Garmin mount would not fit properly. Not sure if it's just a manufacturing defect or not, but…

Pros
  • GPS, finder and accessories
Cons
  • Slightly dented

I like the price - GPS, viewfinder and accessories

1 time went with it yesterday. I had a Garmin 510 and a very small Sony Action Cam. I'm very pleased with how firmly the 510 has snapped into place. I tightened all the screws as tight as I could. But every tiny crack in the road made him lean forward a little. I kept grabbing it and putting it back in its place. I had to adjust it probably 20 times in a 40 mile ride. I'll go back and see if I can get the screws another half turn without removing them. But I like the price, so I agree. Update…

Not bad, but some improvements can be used

The dual functionality of this Garmin computer mount is a real plus. It's nice to be able to put the computer right in front without taking up space on the steering wheel and then being able to mount the headlight right under the computer, which helps a lot. Now the product is not perfect. First, the computer's tilt tab needs to be screwed down properly, otherwise it will start wobbling forward while driving. Especially if there are bumpy sections on your route. If the manufacturer had simply…

Pros
  • SUPERIOR MATERIAL - CNC die-cast aluminum alloy, lightweight and strong. The surface of the product is smoother than non-CNC injection molding. Lightweight and perfect replacement for your Garmin mount.
Cons
  • old

Works with my Garmin 520 and Cannondale Synapse AL

I bought this particular product because it offers an adjustable angle, a few small tools and 3 lengths of mounting screws. My setup called for the longest screws, which were about 5mm longer than average length; an additional $7 than competing products, well worth it. Please note that these are M5 screws. The instructions are naked cartoons. In fact, there are 4 mounting options. The two obvious ones are either the top pair or the bottom pair of handlebar pinch bolts. Removing the angle…
