Do not buy. Not real - printer error!

Do not buy. I ordered a black cartridge to replace my standard cartridge which ran out the first time and doesn't read the cartridge at all. The cartridge looks aftermarket and does not match any of the originals that came with the printer, but I trusted the reviews and descriptions to say they are genuine Canon cartridges/inks. Apparently this is not the case and so far no troubleshooters or forums have been able to bypass the error message. I can't read the printer at all. It's not authentic or functional at all.
