printers practically return. and then do it. You can buy regular inks but I have chosen to support Canon and their high yield inks. I'm sure they are mean to count things, but I wish they would rate their ink and their printers fairly and not the old model of selling pens and razors or junk and junk boxes. But there's not much I can do about it.

This is genuine Canon ink. Expensive and not very far off but this is a quality ink and I have had no problems with these cartridges. I also didn't have any of the cartridges that leaked ink on the desk, the floor, or me. I would print more if the ink was cheaper. At $33,980 per gallon of ink, it's very expensive. (1 pack equals 0.64 oz, there are 128 oz in 1 gallon. 128 oz/0.64 oz = 2000 ink packs. 2000 X $16.99 - $33,980.00)

Do not buy. I ordered a black cartridge to replace my standard cartridge which ran out the first time and doesn't read the cartridge at all. The cartridge looks aftermarket and does not match any of the originals that came with the printer, but I trusted the reviews and descriptions to say they are genuine Canon cartridges/inks. Apparently this is not the case and so far no troubleshooters or forums have been able to bypass the error message. I can't read the printer at all. It's not authentic…
