This is a very good arc welder for its size. Right out of the box I just hooked it up to 110V AC and started welding a 1/8th plate for the frame mount on my car. Draft was good. I was surprised when I used a power of 110. I plugged it into 220VAC and had great penetration with a 3/8 plate. This welder is very convenient as it gives you the option of welding 110 or 220. This is great for DIYers like me who just need something small for my garage. The rod cable is about 4 feet long and the ground wire is also 4 feet long. The power cord is 5 feet long. This is a nice compact little unit. The display is about an inch and a half by an inch and a half and is easy to read. I think this is good value for money. I recommend it.
