This is a real gem of a welder. Powerful and gets the job done. Comes with a strap for easy packing. Supplied with plug 110 and 220. Can also be converted to use fuel according to the instructions supplied. Since receiving it, it has been used to weld metal on the porch, metal pipe, to weld anything that could be connected with a screw and drill, and it is easier and more reliable. Very convenient. Love it!

Pretty powerful especially if you have a 220 but we don't have a 220 base available yet. A lot MUCH smaller than you probably expect, and replacement sticks are probably a lot cheaper than you think too. Overall a good buy. I'm not sure how it compares to a top-of-the-line model, but we're not yet experienced enough to justify the big bucks and so far it seems just fine.

First of all, I'm not a welder. I just wanted something to study and have at home. I found some old scrap metal, took the E6013 bars and played around. He did what he had to do. I'll be very honest; I never welded anything before I got this and the big welders were very dangerous. I was able to watch some introductory YouTube videos on welding and read the instructions for this little jig that walked me through a simple chicken wire project. I had a few failed attempts but finally figured it out. The welder gave me no problems, it was very easy to use and operate once you got used to the process. This is a very good arc welder for its size. Right out of the box I just hooked it up to 110V AC and started welding a 1/8th plate for the frame mount on my car. Draft was good. I was surprised when I used a power of 110. I plugged it into 220VAC and had great penetration with a 3/8 plate. This welder is very convenient as it gives you the option of welding 110 or 220. Honestly I'm amazed at how good this little welder is for the price and how small and light it is. I grew up learning how to weld on my dad's old cracker box air conditioner.
