Review on REED Instruments R9600 Salinity Refractometer by Chris Moody

Well made instrument, metal body, factory calibrated refractometer, easy to read scale, fewer lines, less confusion. Don't tire the body as it looks the same as other refractometers. I tested the repeatability many times with distilled water and the 35ppm calibration liquid showed a stable 36ppm. The actual calibration solution has been confirmed to be 36ppm. A plus point is the included foam sleeve. As this is the only high end refractometer I have used I like that it repeats the results while maintaining the calibration.
