I installed this on my 2013 Cooper S R56 N18 engine. It fits as intended with no modifications to the stock turbo components. I'm wondering if quality control is an issue based on other negative reviews. As an automotive technician, this was a pretty easy install with no issues. Yes, it is very difficult to get to the recirculation valve. The performance gain is almost zero. But the sound is a lot of fun! For $20 you can't go wrong. No DTC and I've been using it for about 6 months with no problems. Someone said that this would cause engine damage. I would like an explanation as to how this would be possible.
