It will most likely lead to engine failure.

Don't buy many other modifications without proper knowledge and desire. Almost caused my car's engine to blow up the turbine. Within a month, many codes flashed and the engine failed. The shop told me it was this part that was causing my car to shut down midway and developing heavy carbon deposits. Obviously the air is not circulated but blown. It's not "buy this easy-to-install part and get started".

does not work on JMTC turbines.

Installed on 2014 Mini Cooper S Coupe with N18. I've seen many people wear the N18 even though it's not listed as suitable. Had to buy screws 1 inch screws (shorter than the ones supplied). No BOV noise and a check engine light appeared. I think it could be due to the stiffer rear derailleur spring in the new turbo. 2 star deduction for the included screws that don't work for the installation. To update. Removed for inspection and the rubber seals are completely torn. Do not use.

NOT SUITABLE, save money.

The first attempt to install the product left me at a loss as the hardware provided was too long to properly secure the BOV and brace before it fell into the hole. After purchasing shorter hardware, I noticed that one of the three holes in the gasket is actually about a millimeter from the bolt hole on the turbocharger housing, making it completely impossible to install without modification. Before you deal with the headache I was having, do yourself a favor and save yourself by buying a Forgeโ€ฆ

The sound is nice, be prepared for problems, but it's worth it

It is well known that working with a Mini Cooper requires children's hands. The product quality was good, I bought it for 2011 Mini Cooper s Clubman. The part itself had to be adjusted as the wastegate doesn't leave enough room to mount the adapter (had to shave off about 1/8 inch), also the supplied screws were too long ca otherwise the spacer wouldn't fit the engine properly) once you have overcome all installation problems, the sound is beautiful! For the money I would buy again.

Great sound and relatively easy installation

As many have said, the N18 app requires a bit of DIY. You'll have to file down one of the mounting points to release the turbo. At the same time, I upgraded my old control valve with the latest OEM model, which omits the rubber diaphragm for longer life. I've driven a few 1000 miles and had no problems with the CEL or the car going into limp mode. Also note that when reinstalling, I highly recommend getting a set of hex sockets with a long reach ball head. This will give you much easier accessโ€ฆ

Very pleasant sound but not annoying

I installed this on my 2013 Cooper S R56 N18 engine. It fits as intended with no modifications to the stock turbo components. I'm wondering if quality control is an issue based on other negative reviews. As an automotive technician, this was a pretty easy install with no issues. Yes, it is very difficult to get to the recirculation valve. The performance gain is almost zero. But the sound is a lot of fun! For $20 you can't go wrong. No DTC and I've been using it for about 6 months with noโ€ฆ

Needs mods and kids hands to fit N18 but great product.

Definitely works as it should. I've had several turbocharged cars with BOVs (SRT4 with adapter plate, Saab 9-3 with Forge BOV, Saab 9-5 where I moved the MAF sensor so I could use the Forge BOV, Audi S4 with upgraded shifters, etc. ). It's not that loud because it's still the standard MINI boost and also because it's just an adapter for the stock diaphragm-type wastegate. But it gets the job done๐Ÿ‘I have a 2014 MINI Countryman S All4 manual transmission with N18 so the installation wasn't asโ€ฆ
