Advantages: Easy assembly. Heavy and durable. When I moved it while sitting on it, I moved my legs back and forth. I accidentally put my foot on a plastic pallet and it cracked in half. Of course I shouldn't have done that, but it's PLASTIC! WHY plastic. I just do not understand. I understand that shelves are meant for storing tools or whatever you need, but they're not very well made. It felt like opening and closing a drawer from a cheap hardware store. All in all, there were a few others I looked at that I'd like to buy because I'm pretty picky about my tools. If you don't mind swapping them out from time to time and you're the type who needs a new gadget, then this is for you. If you want something that will last longer, don't be afraid to spend a few extra dollars for something that doesn't contain plastic. Note. I've had it for a few months now and I'm not the type to give back either. So I can bear it. BTW: I bought a different model.
