Review on 🔧 Efficient Makita A-98348 50 Piece Impactx Driver Bit Set: Enhance Your Drilling Experience by Sam Hansen

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Love it. 20 euros would be better.

Bought for $36. Revain dropped the price to $20 in less than 30 days. Lesson learned! The box looks great. I think the Makita teal color variation (turquoise is an ugly color, admit it) has to do with the material and the manufacturing process. Actually, I like this color much better. The pictures do not convey this. The feel of the case and the look in real life is much better in my opinion. I like the design of the case, especially the tube for longer bits. It's quite durable and I think its design is better than some others. There's no hard plastic to crack, and the connections are strong enough to withstand repeated use. The latch is better built than the sturdy Dewalt box, being made of thicker plastic yet flexible. The beats seem normal to me. Yes, when I put the bits in the bit holder for the first time, they got stuck. Lubricate or grind the snap ring if you have trouble with it. After a few pulls in and out, the locking ring is worn out and there are no problems. In fact, I like it when the snaffle is held tight. This eliminates sloppiness and gives a more precise feel. This is a plus. The magnets are also stronger than other brands I've tried. Devalt/Milwaukee. If that's still an issue, Makita has solved the problem with a new set of gold bits. The lower hex shank is taller with snap ring grooves so they never stick as the black ImpactX bits have a shorter shank. Using Philips #2 on some wire clamps, I have to say the 3" Milwakee Impact bits are stronger, but the Makita fits better and not as loose. It also depends on the screws. some fit surprisingly well, some don't.
