Got them this afternoon and installed them tonight. I had to flip the latches but that's no problem, just pull the screw on the plaid and swap. I had just had my hangar door repaired (two 20ft pivot garage doors) and the technician told me to replace the shoddy locks (20 years old) with new ones. They worked great, were durable, easy to install and I LOVE the red vinyl covers on the throws. See photo. The bolts provided (seen in other reviews) are for new installations only, YOU WILL NOT WEAR SHORTLY if the bolts penetrate the door. My doors don't open from the outside at all and have nothing to spoil the look of the panels. The old latches were installed with self-tapping screws, and I just put the new ones in where the old ones came out. Simply a great price with a beautiful, durable device. Fresh springs give a pleasant click in both directions. I love it when a plan works out.
