This is my third Bonner slicer, I've tried others and found them just as good and easy to use. I bought my first one in Germany in the 80's and after many years of use I needed a new one, now I don't know what was wrong, maybe the plastic broke. Found my second one at a house fair many years ago, it still works but some of the plastic is broken making it stand a little wobbly, it has marks on the plates so I thought it was time for a new one. It's not cheap but worth the money, simple, easy to use, easy to clean, easy to store, very sharp blades but safe to use.
