Review on ๐Ÿ”ฆ Sanborne Training Nightlight Quick Release: Illuminating Your Path with Ease - Model 823902NWH by Alif Wills

Never piss on the floor again!

Thought this might catch your attention! I bought this training toilet seat to replace a Mayfair NextStep slow close toilet seat with integrated removable children's potty training insert which has been well checked and has been in use for over a year. The main reason for the upgrade is that the Mayfair seat has a potty train that's held in place with a magnet (which is nice), but the only issue is that it's made out of wood. It sounded good at first as it seems sturdy and has a slow close feature on the main lid, but cleaning it with bleach started discoloring what looks like urine stains (pretty unsightly). Now let's move on to the Delta faucet review. 823902-N-WH Sanborne Round Potty Training Seat with Night Light. I bought it because it's plastic (easier to clean), has a slow-close feature (necessary for toddlers closing the lid on their own), and has a removable toddler seat. The blue light is a great bonus for us dads who don't want to turn on the light during nightly bathroom breaks. We keep the lid closed when not in use, so the blue light emitted is enough to see when it's completely dark and not annoyingly bright to keep us awake when the lid is closed. Keeping it open when not in use might be a different story. But trust me when I say that you want to train yourself to always close the lid before flushing or your wife might end up yelling at you about how much poop there is in the air when you flush with the lid open. Unlike other reviewers, the slow close feature works great. Note to buyers: I originally ordered a replacement because I was testing the slow close feature before installing it on the toilet (seems reasonable as why would I bother removing the old one just to find out that the new one didn't work, huh ?). The replacement unit came the next day and it worked just like the first one I ordered. To my surprise, due to the design of the quick release function for removing and cleaning the seat, you really need to install this to properly test the slow close function on the main cover as the infant carrier slowly closes right out of the box. but not the main cover when not attached to the toilet. Finally, there's no magnet holding the transitional infant seat to the back of the cover, as other reviewers have noted. I would like to add one important thing: you don't have to tape it to your back as it has a slow closing feature for the toddler adapter (unlike the Mayfair transitional seat which has magnets due to the loose feel and slams easily when released by the magnet ). It also fits well on the lid when the adults do their housework. Overall this product is a winner. Can be a bit pricey for something like a toilet seat but if you have kids and the stress of them learning to use the potty you may pay a little more for the convenience but you get great bang for your buck with this product!
