Great for potty training (we bought the long AND the round!) UPDATED

We just installed this and love it. Each part of it is slowly closing. (see videos). We bought this along with a Squatty Potty Bear (with hat) for our 24 month old to use the potty. She loves it! It's not attracted to the lid by a magnet, which I like. You can't expect your baby to take the seat off before going to the potty. This is the opposite of the Kohler seat, which magnetically keeps the car seat attached to the cover. Fixing/installation and assembly was easy - EXCEPT I had to removeโ€ฆ

Abandon all hopes for toilet seats

The adult hole is very small. Too small. When I sit on it I feel like I'm going to miss a hole and get mud all over the seat and me. The seat itself is oddly small, barely covering my toilet, and part of the porcelain rim sticks out from behind the seat. I have no idea how a person can raise the seat without touching the bowl and pulling on the inside edge of the seat. Because the seat is small, the lid is small. When I lift the lid, it falls onto the toilet just above the top of my water tank.

Never piss on the floor again!

Thought this might catch your attention! I bought this training toilet seat to replace a Mayfair NextStep slow close toilet seat with integrated removable children's potty training insert which has been well checked and has been in use for over a year. The main reason for the upgrade is that the Mayfair seat has a potty train that's held in place with a magnet (which is nice), but the only issue is that it's made out of wood. It sounded good at first as it seems sturdy and has a slow closeโ€ฆ
