My TPMS sensors in my Honda Fit were 10 years old and I knew they needed to be replaced. The TPMS light came on when the temperature dropped to 20 degrees Fahrenheit or below. I wasn't sure how it would work if I replaced them myself. I shouldn't have worried. I was able to manually program sensors that the tool couldn't find because the ID number is on the back of the old sensor. The tool simply duplicates that number into the new sensor, and the car is none the wiser.
