Works fine for my 2017 Mercedes

used this to learn new sensors for 2017 Mercedes GLS. EASY to use and does exactly what it's supposed to. The whole process took about 3 minutes. I was a bit worried at first because I couldn't find a compatibility list on the website and because the sidewalls of the new tires are very thick, but it worked out great.

Great TPM tool for tires and wheels

I have an Autel MX808 that works great. Unfortunately MX808 cannot program/activate TPMs. After some research, I found out that MX808TS/TS608 can work as MX808+TS408. Since I brought the MX808 with me, I only have to spend $150 to get this TS408, which can read the remote sensors in any manufacturer's tires (code number, battery level, and pressure) and Autel brand remote sensors with any new code you want can program.

Pros
  • Good product for the price
Cons
  • Some difficulties

Great tool! in Tools

My TPMS sensors in my Honda Fit were 10 years old and I knew they needed to be replaced. The TPMS light came on when the temperature dropped to 20 degrees Fahrenheit or below. I wasn't sure how it would work if I replaced them myself. I shouldn't have worried. I was able to manually program sensors that the tool couldn't find because the ID number is on the back of the old sensor. The tool simply duplicates that number into the new sensor, and the car is none the wiser.

Pros
  • Sturdy construction
Cons
  • Ugly packaging

good tpms activation and programming tool

good tpms activation tool. This tool tells you if the tire sensor battery is low and at what frequency it is running. A video on YouTube shows how easy it is to use, but you still need a bi-directional scanner like the GM Tech 3 or other expensive scanner to relearn a new sensor or sensors on a vehicle. When you replace the sensor. It won't interact with the car (or truck) to relearn that sensor - you'll have to look it up in a manual or factory manual. However, this will wake up or activate a…

Works when it wants to when it really works

I received an Autel TS408Pro and found it picking up sensors by checking each sensor while the sensor is still fine. Tried using it to reprogram factory sensors with factory replacement, not very good. Used an OBD II scan tool to initiate a sensor relearn after replacing 2 sensors that Autel TS408Pro said were not good (sensors not read or sensor reported low battery voltage). I couldn't program new sensors for the car. The tool reads the sensor intermittently and then the sensor does not read.

Pros
  • GOLS certified
Cons
  • Fine
