Review on Koh-I-Noor Pigment-Based Universal Drawing Ink, 0.75oz Bottle, Black - Professional-Grade Art Ink by Kristen Simpson

Revainrating 5 out of 5

My drawing standard is

What can I say? I've used Koh-I-Noor black ink for drawing and writing my entire adult life, through art school, grad school and beyond. I haven't found any other black mascara that I like better. Dries quickly, sticks to most surfaces (cannot paint over acrylic), is very black and very opaque, the consistency spreads well on markers. This ink has little or no tendency to feather or fade at the edges, allowing it to handle paper with a lot of teeth or very soft and absorbent paper.

Pros
  • Crafts and sewing
Cons
  • There are other interesting options.
