Doesn't clog my hands.

Yes, handles will eventually need cleaning, but using yours every day will increase the time it takes you to unscrew everything and use warm water!

Pros
  • Best in class
Cons
  • Clueless

I have noticed that Pentel leads flow better but the ink liner works

A must have for Pentel Pocket Brushes users. This is a better long-term solution than buying pre-filled Pentel 6 cartridges, as they average around $7 (excluding shipping). I've found Pentel refills flow better, but the ink liner works well.

Pros
  • Looks great
Cons
  • Only available in black

This worked great for my Diluted Craftsy class

This worked great for my Diluted Craftsy class. In this technique, you dilute the ink with water and draw shadows with different inks. Then add your watercolor with the shadows already drawn. If the ink wasn't waterproof, the colors would mix and you'd have a big mess.

Pros
  • GOLS certified
Cons
  • Not sure

I'm not particularly impressed but I like this mascara.

This ink is great for my art. It is slightly darker than Micron Pigma. It will not fade or smudge when erased. That way I can leave my pencil sketch there until I'm done with the whole drawing and then erase it and it looks amazing. It also leaves traces on plastic (PET) as it does on paper. It doesn't wipe plastic with water, but if you leave Windex on it for 5 seconds, it washes off perfectly. Much better on plastic than a marker. Also, cleaning the pen with Windex is just wonderful.

Pros
  • drawing
Cons
  • crumpled packaging

My drawing standard is

What can I say? I've used Koh-I-Noor black ink for drawing and writing my entire adult life, through art school, grad school and beyond. I haven't found any other black mascara that I like better. Dries quickly, sticks to most surfaces (cannot paint over acrylic), is very black and very opaque, the consistency spreads well on markers. This ink has little or no tendency to feather or fade at the edges, allowing it to handle paper with a lot of teeth or very soft and absorbent paper.

Pros
  • Crafts and sewing
Cons
  • There are other interesting options.

BEWARE if you really want waterproof ink!

I bought this ink specifically because I needed waterproof ink for my illustrations - I'm so disappointed because this ink is definitely NOT waterproof. After letting it dry completely I tried to do a few watercolor strokes over it but the ink spread and smudged the watercolor. The mascara itself is a beautiful deep black, if you use it alone you will love it. But stay away if you need something that can withstand water! (I'm confused because there are so many reviews saying the ink works well…

Pros
  • Ink
Cons
  • I'll write later
