I paid about $80 for it at Revain. I see the price has gone up a lot and for a reason. I've been using my Dewalt green laser for the last 4 years and it's amazing. I figured I need something that would help with outdoor use as we all know that lasers on the outside become almost invisible to our eyes in daylight. This receiver doesn't pick up light any better than I can see. Use the blue anodized speed square and tilt it slightly. Makes it a lot better than this thing in daylight. Try the blue square inside and save your money! If you want a receiver that will work outdoors, get a Hilti, Topcon, or a commercial equivalent built and designed for it. It's a cheap copycat.
